Stamping done in Ottawa on 18th sept

Hello,

 

I have done my stamping at Ottawa on 18th sept. VO gave me Loomis tracking details and i797 back. no 221g forms given by him and kept my passport and told me their database is not updated yet. it might take 2-3 business days.

 

1. is there anyone is similar situation?

2. does that mean visa is approved?

3. how long do I have to wait to get my passport?

4. I checked my case status on https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status shows "administrative processing" is that any query?

I had my visa interview on Sep16th. I was told it would take 3 - 5 days. My status still shows up as "administrative processing". 

 

The VO cancelled all my old visas in my passport and kept my passport and 797

 

Guess we just have to wait it out.

Your visa will be APPROVED. I have seen this in couple of previous posts.

Yes, he told me that my details were not updated into their database. It would take about 3 - 5 days.

my status got updated to "issued".

 

Does anyone have any idea howlong it will take to get my passport back?
