justin9
Hi, I have my H1b stamping this week in Toronto Canada. Going through this forum I've noticed that we need to send an email to pims stating out brief interview details. Just checking whether you guys are sending this email or is it not necessary. appreciate your time. Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
Hi, In my case, I had issue with NO PIMS verification during my visa stamping at Vancouver Canada. I mailed my H1B approval to vancouverNIV at the rate state dot gov. Please try to fidn out what is for Toronto Canada and send them mail. It always better you also send them mail just in case. CoolDeep
Hi Gopala Krishna, I have my H1 visa Interview on 12 Nov in Vancouver and my H1 gets started Oct 1. This will be my first H1(was on F1 before). Can you please suggest me if i need to email my H1B approval(I-797) to vancouverNIV at the rate state dot gov for PIMS verification. If Yes, what are the other details I need to email them along with my H1B approval. Thanks in advance. Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
Ho CoolDeep, I guess you can mail them your copy of H1B approval. It's no harm. You will get automatic reply from them saying they recieved your email. You can send them your first and last name, DS confirmation number, VISA interview appointment number, and explain them you case. This is just a precautionary measure that will not lead to NO PIMS verification problem as in my case. I have a question, just out of curiousity, I was wondering how did you find my real name. Can you please tell me. Link to comment
CoolDeep
Hi Gopala Krishna, Thank you very much for that info. Well it was pretty easy to find out your real name. Go to your profile and under User Tools click Display name history. It will display the name with which you have created your account which should be Gopala Krishna.K in your case. Cheers mate :) Link to comment
