F1 denied ..need to go h1b stamping

Hello all,

 

I got my f1 visa rejected 2 times in 2007. got approved 3rd time. Now i am on h1 and want to go to h1b stamping. I dont know the reasons for my f1 rejections. What should i need to mention on ds form regarding that. also Does any one have this kind of situation went for stamping. I am worried about my earlier rejections. Please give your thoughts and suggestions. Thanks a lot.

Some seniors replied that we need to mention this rejection on DS 160.

It should not be a problem. As long as your current job is good and you are paid on time, you should not have any issues. Even mine was rejected twice for F-1, but I never had any issues with my previous 3 H-1 stampings.

Should not be an issue for your H1b stamping as long as you have your H1 docs.

Shekar,  Did you mention any reason for rejections on ds forms. I dont know the reason. officer didnt let me the reason. Thanks for your reply guys.

You can mention it as 221g, if not just say 'was not approved that time', generally they wont depends upon text what we are writing in DS-160.

However they will definitely check with their existing records.
