My father did not had his passport till that time. He got his passport in May 2013 and I applied for both parents b2 visa. The language for the interview in Marathi. The Visa officer didn't have one look towards my parents and was keeping her head down and working on the PC terminal. Here are the questions to my father 1) What do you? A. I am a co-owner & director of a education institute. 2) What is you Annual Income? A. Between 18 Lacs to 20 Lacs 3) Is this gross income? A. Yes 4) What is annual net home income? A. 8 lacs(my father has a partner and has around 6 employees) 5) What does your Son do in US A) He is a Sr. Software Engineer with company XXX 6) To my Mom -> What do you do? A. My - Mom -> I am a house wife 7) To my father -> Have you travelled abroad in the last 2 years A. To Nepal (As passport is not required for indians to travel to Nepal, I had not mentioned this in the D160 form , however my father did not knew about this and he had travelled for sight seeing there) Visa officer declined. sighting section 214g Any help in the answers and reapply please.
