Canadian visa - Original I 797 and I 94 forms?

Recommended Posts

I am preparing documents to apply for canadian visitor visa thru mail in New york consulate.

The first link says to submit ORIGINAL I-797 Form and ORIGINAL I-94 card issued by US authorities at the time of your entry into the US. Second link asks for photocopy.

If you are in the United States with H-1 status, please also submit 

 your original I-797 approval notice form.

 Proof of current employment, such as a letter from your employer

Photocopy of your current immigration document, if Applicable

(e.g study permit, work permit or temporary resident permit)

What should I send - Original or photocopy??

Pls help me if someone have sent application to New york and had visa stamping.
