EMR
Hi all, Will really appreciate if someone could please shed some light on the foll: My Mother attended her B2 visa interview @ Toronto and was issued a pink slip; VO said that he cannot issue the visa this time reason being 214(b). I was under the impression that pink slips meant further adminstrative processing!!! Do US Consulates/Embassies have different meaning to the different color slips in different countries? Has anyone got any experience as above when applying in Toronto? Thanks in advance! Link to comment
pontevecchio
Why did she apply in Toronto? Link to comment
EMR
She applied in India, didn't get the visa. She is visiting Canada now; we wanted to try again and hence we applied inToronto. She will try once again when she goes back to India. I was actually wondering about the pink slip.......... Link to comment
pontevecchio
The color probably depends on what paper they have for printing maybe in view of the Federal monetary issues. Just kidding. If she got refused in India there was very little chance of her getting the visa in any other country. Their databases are extremely complete. FYI since she went to Canada and returned she should have no problem getting the visa in India. Link to comment
