Assistant to accompany during interview

I have scheduled an interview in Mumbai, India for visitors visa for my mother who is 62 years old and has a little bit of problem to walk comfortably. Wanted to know how the process works if you need to provide someone as an assistant to help my mother to move around in the consulate, like my father or brother. Do we have to fill out some form or something for the same ?
