Mother In Law visit to US...documents required

I am on H1b and my wife is on H4 visa. My Mother In Law wants to visit USA and I want to know what are the required documents. She is sponsoring the visa herself and my father in law is currently employed in bank. Since in this case I am not sponsoring them If someone could provide me with a list of documents it will be of much help.

I haven't mentioned anything about the purpose of her trip. Kindly specify the documents required for her visit if you know anything about this.

As to your question, you can send a invitation letter to your in law and copies of your and your spouse passport and visa/I-94

Ask them to ask for a short duration visa (a month or so).

You can never "sponsor" for a visitor visa .
