Is it good to mention the client that im going for stamping or just ask them for a personal leave?

Thats depends on your relation with ur manager. If he/she is cool explain abt the whole process and how delayed it can be and ask him to be ready to respond to emails or calls.??

Why bother with lie? It's not a crime to get a visa stamp.

Tell him the truth in fact I would also ask them if they will wait or support me in worst case admin process senario.

Ask them if you can work from home in such case.

It is a good way to decide whether you should be going to stamping or not.
