International travel with EB2-I PD Sept 14, 2004

I have an EB2 with PD Sept 14, 2004 and I plan to travel to India in May with AP. There has not been any movement in EB2 for India this year but what happens if it becomes current when I am abroad? Is my application considered abandoned? Can I enter based on AP (and EAD)?

An I-485 application is not deemed abandoned if an individual travels abroad and returns with the same advance parole document that was valid before departure from the US and remains valid after return to the United States.
