Can my mother get dependent visa on my brother's L1/H1 visa? she is a widow and staying alone in india.

If not, is there any other way that we can get her to US for a longer peroid of stay?

No. A parent cannot be considered a dependent.

anways I agree to JoeF's advice. If someone feels their mother is alone, then its wrong on their part to leave them alone and come here..
