dgovind
Hi, My in-laws came to USA last year in June 2012 and went back to India in Dec 2012. Now i am planning to call them back by end of March 2013, can you please let me know will there be any issues in Port Of Entry (POE) if they come within 3 months of their previous visit. Also can you please share the exact gap which we need to have in between visits (as per Immigration) for visitor visa. Link to comment
JoeF
There is no specific time frame in the law, but since they are living abroad, they should be abroad more than in the US. If they spent the full allowed 6 months in the US, they should be out of the US for at least a year before visiting again. If the officer at the POE gets the impression that they may actually be living in the US, they could get denied entry. Link to comment
t75
They need a really good reason for such a quick return and should expect a short authorization of stay. Link to comment
