Need Inputs on Visitor Visa

Hi All,

I am staying in US from last 5years on H1B.My wife is on H4.

Last Dec2012 my in-law's went for visitor visa. in DS160 we mentioned that my in-laws will be self sponsoring for the trip.

Actually My wife was in INDIA when my in-laws went for visa interview.

Vo asked for my wifes passport copy. looked at it for 5mins and then told my in-laws that he cant issue the visa now.

Note: VO didn't give any 214 document to my in-laws. not getting 214 is good or bad.

is it OK if we try for second attemp by FEB 2013 end.

If they try a second time, they should be more properly prepared and should bring additional documentation. Please consult with a qualified immigration attorney to prepare a strategy.
