DKPK
Hello, Suggestion requested... In the USCIS website it states, IMPORTANT: If your receipt notice date is earlier then the processing date shown, we suggest you call our USCIS Customer Service Office at 1-800-375-5283 for assistance. For Nebraska Service center, the current processing date for I 140 Advanced degree or exceptional ability requesting a National Interest Waiver is June 16th 2012. But my receipt notice date is May 30 2012 which is earlier than processing date...My status still shows INITIAL REVIEW What does this mean? Is there any problem with my case? It is really eating my brain...please help me with this. Thanks. DKPK Link to comment
Attorney_11
Case processing times are unpredictable. Being outside of processing times does not indicate a problem with a case - typically it is more an indication of work loads at USCIS. Since the case is outside of processing times, a call to USCIS may initiate a Service Request to move the case along in the process. Link to comment
txresearcher
Have you checked ******** NIW cases to see what dates are being processed now? It is pretty accurate in giving you an idea of where USCIS is now. If you are within 1-2 month of that range that's normal. Link to comment
