mane Posted January 15, 2013 Report Share Posted January 15, 2013 Did any of you get a chance to check the status of your application on Visa Application Status Website: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx? If yes please update what is the "Status Updated Date" and what status is it showing? I've checked mine, it is showing an status Updated Date of "Dec 21, 2012", however my interview was on Dec 10. So they must have done something but no updates since then and no communication either. Please update your status update date from the website Link to comment

My client got call on Jan 11th from consulate and responded positively, After that I didn't get any email from consulate. Link to comment

PK_H1B Posted January 22, 2013 Report Share Posted January 22, 2013 Guys, I got 221g ( < 5 min interview) no documents asked on Jan 7th. Visa Officer told that he is recommending visa for approval but damn needs admin processing. I had every single document which visa officer can't even think off. Anyhow, seems like regular processing in Toronto. Some ppl have same day approval not sure what is difference b/w them and us. BTW i had FBI background clearance before i came for interview. Per all search i have done, it seems like case should be resolved within 30 days (business or calender) not sure. Hope h1bdec, you should get an answer soon this week. Link to comment

Same interview less then 5 minutes; VO told me that it shud take couple of weeks for your administrative processing but heard no word about my application. kumarsb3 Posted January 23, 2013 Report Share Posted January 23, 2013 just want to share my 221g case in this topic: 14 Jan - Interview @ toronto and received 221G yellow 15 Jan - email from TorontoFPU for additional documents (paystubs, bank statements, petition file, client letter) 16 Jan - Submitted the docs 18 Jan - client received a call from consulate and client responded positively. But the status in CEAC website hasn't changed so far. It still says Admin processing and status updated date is same as interview/creation date. Today morning, status in CEAC site was changed to "Application Receipt Pending" with no dates displayed and surprisingly in Noon it changed back to "Administrative Processing" with same old interview date. Any similar cases or what exactly is "Application receipt pending" mean? Link to comment

Below is my final update: 17th Dec 2012: H1B intreview @Toronto, VO approved the visa 17th Dec 2012: email from consulate for additional documents 17th & 18th Dec: Submitted Documents 20th Dec: Client is called 15th Jan 2013: last updated date changed to 15th Jan on CEAC website. Status is still Admin processing. 17th Jan 2013: last updated date changed to 17th Jan on CEAC website. Status is still Admin processing. 18th Jan 2013: On CEAC website, the status is changed to Issued. 23rd Jan 2013 00:19 AM: Got email from Loomis 23rd Jan 2013 6:20 PM: Picked up passport from Loomis Markham location.
