H1 Visa Extension stamping, never got it stamped @ home country

Hi Frnds ,

I need one help, one of my friend is planning to go for his H1B Visa Extension.

Question :

He was before in Kuwait when he got his first H1B approved and got stamped in Kuwait. Now he is planning to go for his H1B extension to Vancouver@ Canada. Will thier be any problem ? since he never got it stamped from home country( INDIA) .

whether he is eligible to go to Canada for his stamping ?

He should be fine...He can go to Vancouver.

Hi Srini ,

I dont think it will be a problem since one of my colleague was also in same situation . He got his first H1 stamp in japan and never had h1b stamped in India . He went to vancouver and it was approved without any issues . he went for stamping in August 2012

You mentioned that your friend got first h1b stamped in Kuwait,did he face any issue as he is third party national..
