Change of DS160 Confirmation# after scheduling Visa Appointment

Hi,

I've already scheduled my appointment for Feb-2013 in Vancouver and now I want to change the DS160 confirmation#. Is it just enough to change it in the CSC US Visa website and if I do so does my new # get updated with the consulate.

Can anyone who has already done this and had no issues during the interview please suggest me ?

Once you submit your DS-160 form, take that number and update it on the appointment website. I believe if it's done 2 working days (min 1) before the interview, you're on safe side.

I had the exact same scenario and I updated mine on Thursday night when my interview was on next Monday.

No Issues as long as u change in appointment page .....(Edit you info)

Hi Jay,

don't worry you can just update new DS160 in CSC site ..it gets updated with your new DS160 by the way I expect that u didn't sign and submit your OLD DS160.on DS160 Site.

Thanks all for your replies. I've already signed and submitted my old DS 160 and I've also sumbitted my new DS160 recently. Can I still update the DS160 with the new one even after submitting my old one? Please advise.
