ritwik
1. I came in USA with L1B visa and my wife with L2 visa from "Comp A". 2. While staying in USA , I joined a new company called "Comp B" and changed my status from L1B to H1B (my wife from L2 to H4) 3. After this , I joined "Company C" and "Company C" did my H1B transfer and my wife's H4 transfer. Steps 2 and 3 happened while we were in USA and never left the country in between. Last month my wife went to her home country ,India and she attended a visa stamping interview. Stamping went successful , but in her passport H1B petitioner name came as "Comapany B" not "Company C". My question is , is it a mistake from US consulate side or it is OK ? I am worried if she will face any issue at port of entry. If it is consulate mistake , what we should do ? Link to comment
