H1B First time stamping Chennai

Hello All,

I hope I find few good suggestions.

I got my H1B approved in Oct 2008. But I didn't had my pay stubs running till Oct 2009.So, I don't have pay stubs for almost an year and no w2 for 2009.

But I have W2 for 2010 and all months pay stubs till date.

I have Masters degree with a different specialization than I am working now.

I just changed my employer.So by the end of the year I will be having W2 for 2011 as well.

Is any one in the same boat?

I am planning to visit india early next year and go to chennai consulate.

Please Please give me some suggestions !! I really appreciate it.

You were without a job on H1 for whole year :O

Surely you can expect lot of trouble if you go for stamping in India, right now only Fulltime employees for well established firms is only advisable for india stamping

What suggestions do you need? Do you really have a doubt whether you will get your visa without any issues?

I got a mail from VFS saying "Your passport with ref no. xxxx is ready for delivery by courier.You may also collect it Today from the VFS Chennai centre between 4 - 5 p.m. Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email."

No mention of visa approval status or my documents status (I was asked to submit my documents along with my passport). Does it mean a rejection? or still under processing?
