ram0310
Hello guys I am planning for my first H1 Stamping (F1 to H1). In India when I went for F1 visa I got 221g which took around 2 months to get clear. Now I am planning to visit Ottawa to get my H1 stamping, very scared because had very bad experience last time. So I want to know what are the chances of getting 221g again? Do they document somewhere that the guy already had 221g before so need for any admin processing.?? BTW I am a full time employee and have a common Muslim name. Please suggest ..... Thanks Link to comment
RAMS123
If you didn't change you employer, then the changes of getting 221g again are very slim. Link to comment
manssy
I have pretty solid good history with US visas and went for h1b stamping and got admin processing for background check for common Muslim name and Arab country. It was cleared in 3 weeks. Don't count on slim chances of getting 221g. You have high possibility of getting it even if its your second time. They have to do it Everytime you apply for a new visa. mit_k
I believe it is 50/50. I got 221g for first the time h1 stamping and also recently for extension. VO said I have to go through this every time. Mine is skill set check, i believe. Link to comment
