Anyone received loomis email who attended Visa stamping Interview on Sep 12th 2012 at Vancouver

I am done with my interview on Sep 12th and waiting for the loomis email with waybill no# to pick up passport.

Mine is on Sept 10th ,still not received any mail.In my case,the petition no is not updated in the PIMS update at the time of interview,so might be additional time for processsing than usual.

are you guys sure about waiting for loomis email? my friend also thought the same and waited a day extra. he said that we have to check on the usvisa-info website where we schedule our appointments. in my friends case he was done with this interview on friday and he waited for the email till wednesday which he did not receive but that website said that the passport was ready for pick up on tuesday morning.

Hi Folks,

I have my visa interview on 18th September. I was talking to the Immigration Specialist at my company and he told me that USCIS is heightening the security alert. Not really sure what that means, but here are some of the things that he mentioned -

1. It might take longer to enter the Consulate due to heightened security. So get there an hour in advance.

2. Security clearance after the interview might take longer. Which means it might take longer to get the passport back.

He said that this happens anytime there are any security issues against the US or its nationals. I don't think anyone knows for sure, but I am a little skeptical about going now.

How was your guys' interview experience? Also, how long did it take to get into the consulate?

Hi Praveen...My frd has also has same issue of PIMS...Interview done on Sept 13. Can you tell when u receive update so that he will have an idea, how many days it will take for processing.

I called Loomis and they said the package is in Richmond centre and the website is not yet updated..so, if you are still waiting for your package to be returned call Loomis and check if they have your package..

I had my interview beginning of the year. I never got an email from loomis. I looked up my status on Loomis website (using my reference number) and on the US website and then called Loomis who confirmed that my passport was ready for pickup.
