raj517
HI I am working in EVC(Emp-Vendor-Client) model and trying to figure out which is the best option for visa renewal, India or Canada. Please advice. Thanks Link to comment
inafixkiddo
I have the same question. I am fulltime in a well known company. But this is going to be my first H1b stamping. Looking at various people's experiences, looks like visa stamping in Canada looks better. What shd I do? Link to comment
rahul412
All the consulates are one and same. We don't have options for visa stamping, all matters is your paperwork and employer reputation. Link to comment
h1forumuser
I am also in same boat, working as FTE with US company since two months. place of stamping is total confusion. need to risk canada for first time stamping, for administrative processing we never knows how much time it will take. India is the best option since you can stay shorter/longer. Link to comment
sai1685
Hi, If you have a fulltime - I dont think you will have any issues to get your stamping done in Canada or India. Whereas for consulting jobs- It all depends on your luck. I came to vancouver, canada and I am stuck here as I got 221g. There were 3 other people on the same day and they got their visa. It all depends. The hope is that we will get the visa approved in 2-3 weeks but we have to stay in canada. All my documents were perfect, I changed employer, so she gave me 221g. Link to comment
