Salary Question? H1-B Stamping

Guys, I have a question, how can we answer about the salary question, which in my opinion is one of the dreaded question.

How much is your salary? (Especially for consultants, if the I129, Offer letter shows less than the Paystubs. What is the best way to answer such question?)

You need to get paid at least the salary that is listed on the LCA. You have a copy of the LCA, right? The employer is required to give you a copy.

And in any case, absolutely never never never lie to an immigration official. It would come back to bite you.

What is the problem if your salary is more? The problem is if it is less than the LCA.

Your LCA shows prevailing wages. So your salary should be at least the equal to or higher than

prevailing wages.
