140 approved in 2008. Left country. Any use now?

Hey All,

This is for a friend.

She was on an H1 from 2006-2009. In 2008 her employer filed GC with a PD of July 2008 and 140 was approved by end of 2008 but dates were not current then for a 485 appliction.

End of 2009 she went back to her home country.

At this point she doesnt even know if her employer has revoked her GC application or not.

1. Assuming its still valid, can she contact her employer and continue the process. What would she need to do?

2. Assuming they retracted that application, can she use that PD anymore? What details would she need from the employer?
