I have the same issue :( I am looking for girls who can accompany me for staying. But I have appointment on Oct 1st in Ottawa. I am travelling from east coast only but not finalized transportation yet. I am expecting one of my friend travelling with me as of now but she did not finalized yet. Through my friends( who already went for stamping), I came to know that we have hostels nearby( which needs reservation before). We can ask for sharing room with girls.
