H1b Transfer issues

I have a pending H1b transfer petition with a new employer. My last day of employment with my current employer is friday and i start work with the new employer on monday. I will not be on a payroll for the weekend. Is that ok or is it considered out of status? Under what circumstances is an transfer petition denied.

Would really appreciate a response.

I would say No you wont. And honestly if you go through the forum, you will realize people who have had some gap between jobs ask this question and that too with too much on line.

You are leaving a job on friday to start another on Monday,there is no need for out of status panic alarm you think you might be facing.
