TXlocal
Hello experts, My PERM is still being audited and the I-140 may starts soon once the PERM is approved. I want to know if there is a required period that I can't switch to a different job/company unless I have waited 6 months after my current employer submited my I-140 ? I heard about this requirement from a head hunter. Just want to confirm it here. Should I tell my current company to stop applying for my I-140 before they submit it? Fast respond is greatly appreciated!!! Link to comment
shandan
There is no such requirement or wait period after filling for either Labor and/or I-140. You can swtich jobs at your will, only thing is you will need to re-start the GC process from strach and will not have the PD grandfathered since your I-140 was not approved. Link to comment
