ramamagadala Posted June 21, 2011 Report Share Posted June 21, 2011 We newly married and my wife has interviewed at Delhi consulate on June 10th 2011 for H4, but my wife got 221(g) also hold my passport and I797 original copies. Officer said they will get back in 7 to 10 days. As per the 221(g) we submitted all the required documents on the same day. It is 7th working day so far we have no clue. Its almost 3 weeks, i have to go back and continue my duties. Is it advisable to withdraw my passport ? Please reply. Thanks Link to comment

Nishap Posted June 24, 2011 Report Share Posted June 24, 2011 Why did you give ur original passport when you were not applying for ur visa. Wife's H4 only needs copy of passport NOT original. Please let us know in detail. Link to comment
