STEM OPT to H1-B

Hello,

I am currently working on OPT (STEM extension) with E-verified employer and it is valid until Jan 2013. The same employer is willing to file H1-B for me. What would happen if my H1-B gets rejected? Can I still continue working with that same employer on STEM OPT?

Can someone please answer to this question?

Yes, you will still be in F1/ OPT status.
