I am pharmacy graduate, and I know one person (US citizen) who wants to open his own pharmacy store, and he showed his interest to hire me. He is currently working for chain pharmacy store, but also wants to open his pharmacy. Is there any law that when you start new business, as an employer you can not sponsor for H1B for certain period of time? Thank you. Link to comment

But, expect for a lot of scrutiny by USCIS like proof of their financial status, match of your degree and duties, other employees' salary etc. If you still want to join them, ask them to file your H1b in PP and join them once your H1b is completely approved.
