fbb9999 0 Report post Posted May 21, 2012 How much is the fee? Is it just 325$ amendment fee or do we need to pay the whole petition fee. Do we really need to do amendment of petition, if we change the client location? Share this post Link to post
shravreddy20 0 Report post Posted May 22, 2012 Yes you need to file your H1b Ammendment if you change ypur client location and if you are willing to go for Visa stamping and it has same fee that a new H1b Petition has. Share this post Link to post
stanjavoor 0 Report post Posted May 22, 2012 Yes, I changed a client and i amended my petition. It costed me around 1600$ as i did mine in premium processing. If you go for regular amendment it will be around 325$ + Attorney fees. Share this post Link to post

Do we really need to do amendment of petition, if we change the client location? The employer has to file an amendment. Share this post Link to post
luck2u 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2012 Can anyone tell how many days does it take for amendment? Is it same as H1B transfer or extension else amendment can be processed earlier that transfer or extension? Share this post Link to post
mk2245 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2012 @luck2u If you are filing an amendment in premium processing, then it will not take more than 15 days from the date USCIS receives your petition. Share this post Link to post
