Work at Client place when H1B amendment is in Progress

I will be moving to new client soon and my attorney is mentioning to me that i can start working at new Client as soon as the LCA is approved and while H1B amendment is pending (even without receipt notice).

Can H1B amendment be filed in considerable amount of time (say within 1 month) after joining new Client ?

I've searched the forum but couldn't get a reply for the question whether I can start working at a Client while H1B amendment process is in progress.

Your attorney is right, you can start working for the new client and file for the amendment.Make sure you do have the LCA for the new location.
