InfoSeeker00
I am a us citizen and will marry an H1-B holder. After our marriage, do I need to apply for a I-765 as well for her to work in the USA? Or will the provisional Green card that she receives after the I-485 is processed be enough for her to work for any employer in the USA? Currently the H1-B is based upon the employer who is sponsoring that visa. Link to comment
pontevecchio
The GC is a GC provisional or not. She can work for any employer. Link to comment
Joe.F
A GC, even the conditional one, if perfectly valid to work anywhere in the US, for any employer. It just is only valid for 2 years, and then there is a process to get an unconditional one. Link to comment
