Wrong start date on a Green Card

My son who is a minor received his green card with a wrong effective start date. My wife and I got the correct start date (March, 2012) however my sons green card indicates the card was effective from the priority date (August, 2008). My sons card like ours still expires on 03/10/2022 (ten years validity). Is this a problem? Do we need to get it modified by uscis? If so what do we need to do?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You need to get it fixed. File an I-90. It should be free since it is their error.
