My lawyer says he filed it on 03/13/2012. He told me that it takes about 60-90 days to get decision on the PERM.

Is there anyone has anything to say on this?

When was your case filed and what your lawyer or employer says about it?

Please start discussing.

Thanks.

I got my PERM approved last week (Priority date of Dec 13, 2011). It took 90 days for my approval. On an average, it takes anywhere between 90 - 100 days for PERM decision these days.

Hey guys,

Thanks for posting your updates.

Let's hope that March PERMs will be processed within 60 days or so.

One question I have is - is there any way to find if application is filed under EB2 or EB3? Or is it that PERM is common for all applications and category is specified at the time of filing of I140?

I am sorry being so illiterate about basics of GC process.

The minimum job requirements that decide whether the application is EB2 or 3 should be specified in the PERM application itself.

.

That's for your reply. I checked my PERM application and it does mention that the job requires Masters degree. It in turn illustrates taht it is EB2.

My PERM applied on Mar 20 2012. How do i check my PERM Status? Can i expect the results June 1st Week?

Appreciate any reply

Hi there,

You will not be able to check status of your PERM yourself.

Your lawyer or employer will have to access to that.

You can find if some who has applied for PERM around same time as yours, and see if they are approved or not. Another website Trackit dot com also provides similar kind of service to follow/track case status.

That is the sole reason, we have created this discussion board where people who applied their PERM in March will post their case status and discuss any other possible issues with it.

Good luck to you.
