3 year H1B extension based on approved I140

Hi,

My pd is may2011 and my 6th h1b is expiring on nov 2012.i have i140 approved with my current employer say A.now if I want to move to company b, can company B file for 3yr H1B extension based on my approved i140.

Depends on if the I140 has been approved for more than 180 days or not.

Company B cannot use A's I140 for extension.

with an approved I-140, you are eligible to apply H1 extension beyond 6 years even from a different employer.
