vibhuvijayan
Hi, I have 7yrs of experience on H1 B of which I have the experience letter from my previous consulting companies to prove it.The question is about one year of OPT which I was in other than the above 7yrs during which period I was getting trained and was not getting paid. Can this one yr in OPT be considered as my work experience by just showing the OPT card since my previous consulting company is not willing to put this period on my experience letter? Thanks Link to comment
Jyothis
Were your employer getting paid on behalf of your work, while you were working in OPT? Link to comment
vibhuvijayan
No...My Employer wasn't getting paid. We were actually on training at the employers expense and even I was not getting paid. Link to comment
abhishekreddy1
I have a same question. My employer gave me training for 3 months on OPT and then I moved to to a new employer after that where I was getting paid. Can I put this as my experience or is it counted as unemployed period ?
