VED11 Posted February 21, 2012 Report Share Posted February 21, 2012 WE ARE PLANING TO GO ON BAHAMAS 3 DAY CRUISE. I AM ON H1 AND MY WIFE ON H4. OUR F1 VISA STAMP HAVE EXPIRED, BUT WE HAVE A APPROVED I797 TILL OCT 2014. CAN WE VISIT THE BAHAMAS WITH WITH A VISA, BUT ON I-797 WITHOUT STAMPING ON PASSPORT. I WOULD APPRECIATE IF SOMEONE WITH REPLY WITH PROPER GUIDANCE. Link to comment
jai5 Posted February 21, 2012 Report Share Posted February 21, 2012 When ever you travel outside USA you don't need a visa but to re-enter a US port you will need visa stampped. Even when you go on a cruise you'll go thru immigration :) Link to comment

Cruise people won't even let you board the ship without a valid visa (stamped visa) on your passport. Upon returing to US you only have to pass customs and not regular immigration you go through in airport. You can find all the information on cruise's website.
