Canada visitor visa photo size

im planning to go to detroit consulate for canada visitor visa

What is the photograph size that is needed?

is it normal passport size which is 2"X2"?

or are there any special measurements?

It is normal size. Go to walgreens and get them.....

Canada visa has different size. But 2x2" works fine.

I got visa with 2x2 and many others too.

@lost_immigrant : my bad ... like to correct .. its 3.5 cm * 4.5 cm for Canadian visa and 2*2 for US visa .. i took pic from sears and cut it myself 3.5 * 4.5 cm as per canadian website and sent it to canadian consulate .. received visa in 10 days by post.

Also guys I heard that name and address should be printed on back of the photo.

Are you writing that on your own with pen or printing it with the help of photographer.

@lost immigrant, @satish5128: In these situations, go to the source of truth, the Canadian consulate website, and check out the requirements. I posted a link before, posting it again,

The website will list all the requirements for you. There's nothing on the website that says a photographer should print the name for you. When I applied for a Canadian visa, I wrote the names myself on the back of my passport using black pen.

Thanks for the information guys..just a quick clarification ..How much do we need to pay for the multiple entry visitors visa ..i heard that its 150 but some one was saying that its 160 for..detroit consulate..is that true..im confused please shed some light..thakns again

its 150 for multiple entry ..i sent money order for 150 at detroit consulate.

I mails them 35*45 it worked.I took it from walgreens.
