Changing employer after submitting an EAD extension

Hello everyone,

My EAD is expiring in June 2012. My current employer has just filed for an EAD extension.

I heard it takes USCIS 3 months to process the EAD application.

I have a job offer from another company now.

I was wondering if I switch employers now before the EAD extension is approved, will it be a problem? Or would my current employer just forward me the new EAD when its approved, even though I dont work for them when the EAD is approved.

Anyone been in a similar situation? Thank You in advance for any insights.

2. You can change the address online for your application so that you receive the card when its approved.
