pradeepg16
Hi, I just came to USA on a H1 visa. I will get my 1st payslip at the end of Feb. I got a good offer from other company. Can my visa be transferred with just 1 payslip and within 1 month of my entry to USA? Is it an issue? Please let me know. Thanks Link to comment
wiweq
Its not one pay stub or two. USCIS needs to verify whether you were in legal status for last 2-3 months or not. For this verification they need pay stubs for recent months (if you were in H1b status those months). If someone is on H1b for just one month and he/she wants to change employer, 1 month's pay stub is enough. But in this case you need to show the proof of lega visa status before one month. But, if you claim that you are in H1b status for last more than 3 months, you need to submit 2-3 months' pay stubs. Just being in H1b or working is not enough, getting paid regularly is most important to be in H1b status. Link to comment
