Right now I am working as a consultant for one company and they are ready to file my H1B this year 2012 april. But, the client I am working with offered me full time and I am not sure they will apply for my new H1B, though they are ready to sponsor by transferring my H1B. If I file my H1B from my current company, I need to stay with them till october 1st where my H1B starts. My question is can I transfer my H1B before the start date (october 1st) to other company, or can other company file my H1B again. Please, help me in this regards. Your help will be appreciated. Chitown01 Posted February 12, 2012 Report Share Posted February 12, 2012 There is nothing like transfer, its always a new petition.... it will be difficult for you to get h1 approval with consulting...ask client directly to file for new h1 and you should be good Link to comment
