I140 receipt number is not getting updated in USCIS web site.

My employer/attorney has shared the I140 receipt number (filed with NEBRASKA service center). But if I go and check the status with USCIS web site using that number, it says the number is not valid.

Attorney called USCIS and USCIS said that the number is valid.

Did any one faced this kind of issue before? Pls let me know what have you done in this kind of situation....

Online system is not very reliable... Sometimes it takes a while to get updated check within a week or so
