Can I continue working if uscis shows approved and notice sent

USCIS updated my case status to "Approved on 27JAN and that approval notice has been mailed".

I was working with employer X on OPT which is expiring 31JAN.

• Can I continue working for the employer since website shows case is approved or I need to wait for the notice to arrive ?

• If I need to wait for the notice, does my employer need to RE-HIRE me or just stop paying on 31JAN and then pay me onwards from the day we receive Approval notice.
  

PLEASE ADVICE - not sure how should the employer proceed with paperwork.

Did you receive Approval e-mail? or this is just the online status?

Online Statuses tend to be unreliable but in your case i would suggest continue working, it shouldn't be a problem.....

A case in pending state itself gives you privilege to work and if its approved, then you are completely in a legal position to work for.
