Disturbia
My friend came to USA on H1B (visa stamped) from an MNC in India; He wants to change his employer, so he would have to transfer his H1b- but if he goes to India , will he need to get his visa stamped again? Link to comment
Chitown01
As long as his/her previous visa stamp is valid, s/he does not need new stamping, s/he can re-enter using old visa and new I-797 Link to comment
pontevecchio
Usually...No. Link to comment
subram001
Hi If your H1 is transferred to a new Employer and you start working for the new Employer and then if you leave to India - You will need a Visa stamping. As long as you are with the Old Employer when you re-enter US, existing Visa (if it is not expired though I-94 may be valid) should be OK. This is my understanding Link to comment
