@Kathi . Yes 99 percent of them are getting the emails to client or vendor from consulate. Did your client or vendor got anything ?

Even in Employer-Client model, this email-game is going on or is it more for the EVC model where they always have a little more suspicion than normal.

@dream16 - Yes it can happen in EC too.Any one who is on EC and EVC can get 221g and the emais will be sent to client/vendor/employer about Employer and Employee relationship.

Only one guy got approved recenlty on 221g . And fresh 221g's were issued to some in this week. Any else on got approved in Ottawa recently. Please let us know .

I had the same issue on the Jan 27th. Got a 221g white slip requesting for client letter. I've asked the client/employer to send the letter. I'm staying in Days Inn. Mail me at tvn79@rediffmail.com to contact me.

My Employer Or Client None Of them Got any emails But My visa is approved. and I attended in Tijuana and it took exactly 4 weeks for the 221g admin processing . The only thing is I am in India and i need to go and get it stamped.

Hi Krish,

I got a 221(G) white and the V.O kept my PP,I797, EMP,Vndr and Client Letter. My Client got a email last week and they replied it back.

Can you please tell me how long it took for your visa to be processed. Did you stay in Ottawa for the entire duration or took your passport back and returned?
