puru33
I went for H1b stamping recently. My photos were taken in the US and were perfect according to the website specifications .The scanned electronic copy was accepted successfully when I completed the DS-160 form online. but when I went for the visa interview at chennai consulate these stupid officers who do the initial screening of applications said photo is not good and i need to get a new one. They have set up a small photo booth right next to the screening area. they charge around 200Rs . It was not just me, they were picking people randomly and ask them to get a new photo from the booth. This is fraud. how come authorities dont notice such acts. Link to comment
Chitown01
You should be Grateful that they have such a service inside the consulate... have you ever thought that if it wasn't there... you might have to go out get a photo instantly and come back wait in line again and things like that? Would you rather do that or give 200RS and have peace of mind and get things done right from the consulate.... Link to comment
pontevecchio
If you had a grouse and are accusing the US consulate of fraud you should at the very least compalin to the US consulate in writing. Link to comment
