I'm yet to receive the receipt number. According to the company lawyers, I can join the new company as soon as USCIS has received the application (fedex tracking shows 'Delivered')...just wanted to know your opinion on when to join the new company... Is it only after approval of the H1 transfer petition OR As soon as you receive the receipt number OR as soon as USCIS has received the application (fedex tracking shows delivered). any help is greatly appreciated !! If you application was thru premium processing then its just a matter of day or 2 you will have receipt number, with regular it might take 1-2 weeks Link to comment
