maddygonemad
Hi Guys, Here are the dates 6th Year H1 Ends - Dec 07 2012 Labor applied with Currenty employer - Oct 10th 2011 Labor approved - Dec 20th 2011 Which means my perm was applied in the 5th year itself. Havent applied for my 140 yet. My perm is valid for 5 more months. Now if i want to change the employer and apply for h1 transfer, Will i get 2 years of h1b ( About 10 months left in the 6th year + 1 year because of perm applied before 6th year started)? Attorneys/Joe/Experts, please let me know Link to comment

kalyan_ac
I dont think you will get the one year extension based on an approved PERM if you change your employers. One year extension is only valid if your PERM is pending for more than 365 days. Link to comment
