rajesh876 Posted March 19, 2012 Report Share Posted March 19, 2012 I am in the same situation. I have valid stamping until June 30th 2012. My H1b is valid until May 31st. I am travelling to India on Apr1st and coming back on Apr 29th. Am I going to have any problem at the Port of Entry since I have only 1 month left for H1B to expire. My employer told me that they are going to apply for extension after I come back. They are telling me it is not good to apply for H1B during the travel. Am I going to face any problem at the Port of Entry? Link to comment
